The Arizer Air is a portable vaporizer, more precisely it is the evolution of the Arizer Solo; this improves some of its historical fault and adds the predisposition to numerous accessories. Find out in our review the pros and cons of this portable vaporizer.
Arizer Air | Design and portability
As for the size, the Arizer Air is small enough to be concealed almost completely in your pocket and to hide in the palm of your hand while we smoke our beloved herb.
The only cons, is the kinda cumbersome stem, which is pretty long, as you can see on the images gallery.
A feature of this portable vaporizer is the large amount of accessories with which it is delivered, which are mouthpieces of different length and diameter, to better enjoy our herbs and find the best combination of taste and temperature.
In addition there is also a silicone cover, which helps to isolate the hand from heat, when the vaporizer is used at high temperatures and for long sessions.
Arizer Air | Vapor quality
The quality of the vapor that the Arize Air produces is excellent initially, but then it loses as you insist with the shots; if you linger in prolonged sessions, in fact, both the taste and the amount of steam slowly decrease.
Obviously it is not dramatic, but it is quite noticeable if you compare it with other vaporizers.
The Air has 5 temperature settings, the range goes from the lowest value of 180 ° C up to the highest of 210 ° C.
The capacity of the herb chamber is 0.2 / 0.3 grams, and is made of ceramic material.
Also, the glass water pipe adapter (called GonG, which you can find here) from the Arizer Solo are compatible with our Air.
Arizer Air | Battery
The battery life of this vaporizer varies from about 45 to 60 minutes, depending on the set temperature; it is possible to change the battery on the fly when it is discharged, as the Arizer Air is equipped with a removable battery.
The full recharge takes place in 2 and a half hours, but you can use the vaporizer in pass-through charging mode after twenty minutes, if you are impatient.
Arizer Air | What if you already own the Arizer Solo?
If you are already a holder of the Solo model, the main Arizer Air improvements mainly concern dimensions; in fact, the Air is basically a miniaturized version with a removable battery of the previous model.
We have to say that the Solo battery last much longer, but now it’s possible to swap in a new battery, so it’s not a big deal.
As said before, you can use all the accessories from the Arizer Solo with this new unit, without problems.
Arizer Air | The choice
How is our Arizer Air then?
Surely it is a portable vaporizer with fair performance, compact and with a good (removable) battery life.
However, the vapor quality, especially in terms of consistency of performance, is lower than other vaporizers, even cheaper ones; however the volume and taste of the vapor are quite good.
If you are a satisfied owner of an Arizer Solo instead, and look for a more compact model, the Air could be for you.
The Arizer Air is a good step forward in the Arizer vaporizers family. It has a good vapor quality, compact dimensions and a removable battery.
- Good vapor quality
- Removable battery
- Good portability
- Water pipe compatibility
- Not so powerful
