The DaVinci IQ is surely one of the best vape you could want: efficient, stylish, of quality. Check out our DaVinci IQ review.
DaVinci IQ review | Design and portability
One thing that affects DaVinci IQ is its compactness: it pays a few dozen grams to lighter portable vaporizers, such as Pax 3 and Grasshopper, but do not affect portability and use at all.
When used, it is completely hidden in the hand, which makes it perfect for outdoor use.
The construction quality is very good, and it is felt when you have the vaporizer in your hands.
The keys fells strong too and the leds give a nice touch to the whole.
Surely the DaVinci IQ is one of the best portable vaporizers in terms of perceived and effective quality.
DaVinci IQ review | Vapor quality
The vapor produced by this vaporizer is probably among the best portable conduction vaporizers.
In fact, the DaVinvi IQ produces fine dense clouds and is very delicate on the throat: obviously this aspect also depends on the set temperature.
The vaporization chamber may contain about 0.3 grams of weed.
The heating time is about 40 seconds, somewhat above the average of the vaporizers of this price range.
It is possible to set various temperature modes through the DaVinci’s smartphone app.
DaVinci IQ review | Battery
The battery on this vaporizer lasts for an hour, but it will depend very much on the temperature at which you use it.
A positive note of the DaVinci IQ in this regard is that the battery is removable, unlike many competitors.
This means that you can buy one of the spare to change on the fly if needed, also because to recharge a drain battery takes almost 4 hours.
Instead, if the battery charges separately in the dedicated charger, it will take just two hours.
DaVinci IQ review | The competitors
• DaVinci IQ vs. Grasshopper: In my opinion Grasshopper has a slight advantage: it is smaller, warms up faster and has a vapor quality almost at the DaVinci level. The only real defect is the limited availability of this model.
• DaVinci IQ vs Crafty: Crafty loses the comparison in size, and portability, but still has the advantage over vapor quality, it always has that little extra.
• DaVinci IQ vs. Pax 3: Here the DaVinci has a slight advantage over the vapor quality but loses from the point of view of battery life and heating speed.
DaVinci IQ review | The choice
What to say then?
The DaVinci IQ is among my favorites vapes, but as you’ve read a few lines up, the competition is fierce and the portable vaporizers of this price range are all very close to both construction quality and vapor quality.
This model is very well built, has a great vapor quality and has a 10 years warranty.
Less positive is the management of battery charging, than the duration itself, and the fact that it can not vaporize concentrates.
